In between Mother’s and Father’s Day I thought I’d post photos of both my parents. These photos were taken when I was in my early to mid-twenties. We were all working journalists. Man, I thought I knew everything worth knowing.
Had a wonderful lunch with my former student Daryl Marcus. Daryl has a short story in the anthology on holding! Excellent story—talented man.
I’m sitting in my wonderful catatorium that Brian Wilkinson built for me and the critters. I love sitting out here listening to the rain and wind with all my pets. Life is good. Thank you, Brian. He is the smartest, most honest person I’ve ever met. And what a worker!
It’s here. And Jitty demands I have a contest. What is your all time favorite “outfit” you’ve ever worn? From any age. Details, people, details! Random winner drawn. But go for it!
You know how strange things appear on my yard. Well, these dicks must belong to someone. They aren’t afraid of me at all. I don’t have any water for them to swim. Luckily this morning I only had Lily at the barn with me and she obeyed me (miracle!) and didn’t go after them. They need to waddle on home.
Oh sweet Vlad! She is US AG with no ability to think? Wow. I sick at math but I know this is an insane lie.
Last night I smelled the orange tree again. It made me so sad I just took a break from writing and walked outside with Dolly. There is new growth on the tree. It isn’t dead!
