The house is watching.

Connor Tremaine believes she has found the life she’s always wanted. When she agrees to marry widower Clay Sumner, she leaves behind everything familiar for Oaklawn—a grand estate tucked deep in the Alabama countryside. Surrounded by towering trees and steeped in history, the house seems like the perfect place to begin again.

But something about Oaklawn isn’t right. As Connor settles into her new home, small disturbances begin to ripple through the household as she discovers things are not as they appear in Clay’s world–and she begins to fear that he may not be telling all he knows about his first wife’s death.
